This blog covers retail around the Texas area— most of which is centered around service stations, food marts, grocery stores, plazas and downtowns across Southern and Western Texas.

Retail Spotting isn’t really a term for anything, but I coined it because sometimes I’ve seen buildings that have a specific facade that look exactly like old stores. I’ve always been curious while driving around the Southern Texas area and beyond about what a specific place used to be, and as I got older, I was able to research and find out.

If you’re interested in my findings, check out the posts I’ve made on here as well as the many collections I’ve made (ex. aerial picture mappings, maps, and more!) by the menu on the top right! Blog posts are on the bottom.
